Deactivating and connecting airbags

Deactivation of the front and side airbags for the front passenger

NOTE: When installing a rearward facing child seat in the front seat, the front and side airbags for the front passenger must be disabled.

When the front passenger airbag is deactivated, the side airbag is also deactivated. All other inflatable pillows and curtains remain functional.

Deactivating the front airbag

Switch off the ignition.

Turn the special switch in the center console with the ignition key to a position perpendicular to the direction of travel (pic. 1.105).



Make sure that when the ignition is on, the control lamp «PASSENGER AIRBAG OFF» in the center console (pic. 1.106) constantly lit.

Reversing pillows

Switch off the ignition.


Use the ignition key to turn the special switch in the center console to the position in the direction of travel.

Make sure that when the ignition is on, the control lamp «PASSENGER AIRBAG OFF» does not light up in the center console.

IMPORTANT: The airbags for the front passenger should only be deactivated when, as an exception, a rear-facing child seat is installed in the front seat.

Attaching a child seat using the system «ISOFIX»

Be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions when installing and removing the child seat.

• Slide the front passenger seat longitudinally all the way back.
• Insert the child seat into the "ISOFIX» until the audible sound of fixing the armchair in the eyes.
• To check the reliability of the fastening, try to pull it out by taking the seat from both sides.

Two eyelets «ISOFIX» located at the outer rear seats and at the right front seat. eyelets «ISOFIX» attached to the body. They are located between the backrest and the seat cushion (pic. 1.107).
