Checking the condition of the poly V-belt

Check whether the poly V-belt has breaks in the bearing layer (tears, breaks in the middle, transverse breaks); peeling layers (top layer, work surface); torn parts of the carrier layer; wear of the working surface and edges (material wear, frayed/pulling edges, hardened edges, glass edges, surface cracks), as well as the presence of traces of oil and grease (pic. 2.1).

NOTE: If defects are found, be sure to replace the V-ribbed belt. In this way, possible malfunctions and failure of some functions can be prevented. Replacing the V-ribbed belt is a repair measure.
