Combination valve test

Verification conditions

Vacuum connections and hose connections must be sealed. Vacuum connections are not bent or clogged.

Checking procedure

Disconnect the N112 secondary air valve vacuum hose from the combination valve (pic. 2.304).

NOTE: Do not use compressed air for the next check.

Connect the hand vacuum pump VAG 1390 to the vacuum connection of the combination valve (pic. 2.305).



Disconnect the pressure hose connected to the combination valve, connect an auxiliary hose from the coupling to the end of the tube and lightly blow into it. Combination valve must be closed.

Operate the hand vacuum pump. The combination valve should open.

If the combination valve does not open, replace it.
