Vehicles with engine codes AYH, BKW
Remove the fuel filter.
Vehicles with BLE and BWF engines
Remove the bypass cap with the exhaust gas recirculation cooler.
Continuation of assembly operations for all vehicles
NOTE: When unscrewing the oil pressure switch, hold the banjo bolt to prevent loss of tightness in the oil line area.
Remove the F1 oil pressure sensor and screw it into the VAG 1342 pressure gauge.
Screw the oil pressure gauge into the hollow bolt instead of the oil pressure gauge.
Route the brown gauge wire to measure oil pressure to ground (-).
Connect the voltage indicator of the voltage tester VAG 1527 V using auxiliary wires from the set of auxiliary measuring instruments VAG 1594 C to the positive terminal of the battery (+) and oil pressure sensor. The tester LED should not light up.
Vehicles with engine codes AYH, BKW
Remove the fuel filter.
Vehicles with BLE and BWF engines
Install the bypass cover with the exhaust gas recirculation cooler.
Continuation of assembly operations for all vehicles
Start the engine and slowly increase the speed.
At an overpressure of 0.55-0.85 bar, the LED should light up, otherwise replace the oil pressure switch F1.
Increase engine speed. At 2000 min-1 and an oil temperature of 80°C, the overpressure must be at least 2.0 bar.
At higher speeds, the excess oil pressure must not exceed 7.0 bar.
