Removal and installation of the gear change drive

Removing

Remove the selector handle. Pull the rod up and switch the selector to the position «S».

Be sure to follow the battery disconnection sequence.

Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery with the ignition off. Remove the center console. Remove the noise insulation from the center console.

Unlock and disconnect plug 1. Unscrew screw 2 and remove holder.

Pull connector 3 out of the holder (rice. 3.23).

Disconnect plug 1.

Carefully detach the clips 2 on the left and right of the frame (rice. 3.15).

Pull the tabs on the left and right outwards and pull the frame up (rice. 3.16).

Unscrew the clamping bolt on the selector rod using the T40031 nozzle (rice. 3.12).

Unscrew the bolts 1 and remove the front holder 2 of the switching drive (pic. 3.26).



Remove the rear shift drive bracket.

Pull the shift actuator together with the selector rod slightly back.

Remove the lock washer 2 from the selector rod 1 and disconnect the gearshift drive from the selector rod (pic. 3.27).

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order. In doing so, the following must be taken into account.


Install the selector rod 1 and secure with a new lock washer 2.

Screw on the front and rear shift actuator holders (pic. 3.27).

Lay cables 1-3 as shown in the figure (rice. 3.25).

Fit plug connection 3 in the holder.

Tighten bolt 2.

Connect plug 1 (rice. 3.23).

Adjust the selector rod.

Install the center console.

Connect battery.

Install the selector lever.
