Disabling the rear wheel brake

if you need to dismantle the brake drum, then before that you need to remove the brake pads. Adjustment of the pads is not necessary if they were installed correctly during installation, see fig. "Rear brake adjustment".

raise the rear of the car, remove the protective cap from the brakes.



(46-391) use a screwdriver to turn the adjusting gear through the hole until the brake linings come away from the brake drum and the wheel can be rotated freely.
