Replacing the voltage regulator

When replacing the voltage regulator, an additional (if not already installed) RFI filter capacitor.



Since 1981, voltage regulators have been installed: with elongated carbon brushes.



The new carbon brushes are 13 mm long and have a wear limit of about 5 mm.

Attention: When replacing a new voltage regulator, due to the extended brushes, the installation of another voltage regulator is not allowed.
