Checking and adjusting the idle speed

To set the idle speed, you need a tachometer suitable for diesel engines.

Connect a tachometer to the generator's W terminal.

The cold start accelerator link must not be tensioned.

Bring the engine up to operating temperature (oil temperature 50-70 degrees.).

Switch off current consumers (searchlight, radio).



(23-085) set the speed using the setting washer for idling (see arrow) equal to 800-850.

Attention! The idle speed setting must be very accurate.

Lock the adjusting washer and varnish.
