Checking and adjusting the maximum speed

Since diesel engines do not have an ignition system, a special tachometer is required (VDO). It can be connected to the W terminal of the generator.

Bring the engine up to operating temperature (oil temperature 50-70 degrees.).



(27-444) connect a tachometer.

The cold start accelerator link must not be pulled out.

Switch off current consumers (radio, light).



(23-086) Loosen the locknut on the set screw.

Start the engine and give full throttle. Set the number of revolutions with the set screw to 4750-4850.

Lock the set screw.
