Cold start thrust adjustment

All diesel transport buses are equipped with a cold start system. By means of the control rod, the fuel advance mechanism is set so that cold starts are facilitated. During repair work, the control rod is connected as follows (23-027):

• Slide washer 1 onto the rod. Fasten the rod through the rubber bushing to the fuel pump counterholder. At the same time, pull the tension cable through the bearing bolt 3.
• install lock washer 2.
• set control lever to 0 position (in the direction of the arrow).
• pull the cable tightly and fix it with clamping screws 3.
