Removing water from the fuel filter, replacing the filter

For perfect engine operation, the fuel filter must be drained every 7,500 km and replaced every 30,000 km.

Water removal

(02-355) unscrew the ventilation screw A with a screwdriver.

Filter with fuel preheating: pull out the clips and remove the blower valve with lines 3 and 4 connected, see fig. 23-171.

Unscrew the drainage screw B at the bottom of the filter by hand, let it out to collect about 100 ml of liquid.

If present, insert the regulator valve and secure with clips.

Tighten the ventilation screw and the ventilation screw.

Start the engine, the system is ventilated automatically. Filter replacement

To remove the filter, use a special key or a leather strap.

Lightly coat the filter rubber seal with diesel fuel.

Install and screw in the new filter.

Start the engine.

Press the gas several times, at idle, diesel fuel should pass through a transparent fuel line without bubbles.

Check the fuel system for leaks.
