Oil drain
Warm up the engine to operating temperature (oil temperature 80 degrees.).
Raise the car to a horizontal position.
Remove engine cover.
Substitute the tank to receive the old oil.
Unscrew the screw plug 3 turns.
Drain the oil completely.
(17-042) unscrew the oil filter.
At the bottom, the filter has two trunnions. Insert a screwdriver between these pins and unscrew the filter.
Oil filling
Follow the instructions on the oil filter.
Clean the sealing surface of the motor.
Lubricate the filter rubber gasket with a thin layer of engine oil.
Screw in the new filter by hand (15 nm), then tighten.
Install the engine cover.
Fill with oil. You need 4.5 liters of oil.
Attention! The oil level indicator must never be behind the division "max".
In order to better observe the long-term behavior of the engine when filling with oil, always use the same type of oil and, if possible, the same brand.
The indiscriminate use of various types of oil affects adversely. Engine oils of the same type but different grades should not be mixed if possible. Motor oils of the same type and brand, but with different viscosities, can be topped up safely when the seasons change. If the car is constantly operated in dusty areas or in countries with an arctic climate, i.e., where prolonged temperatures are observed below -20 degrees, then the oil needs to be changed more often.
After a test drive, check to see if oil is escaping from the oil filter and, if necessary, tighten the filter.
