Checking the throttle and air damper shafts

The bearings of both shafts must not be broken, but the shafts must be easy to move.

With a large throttle gap, excess air is sucked in. Consequence: Difficulty starting the engine and uneven idling.

The closed air damper must fit snugly against the walls, it must not jam when opened.
