Removal and installation of the air filter

Removing

Disconnect the hose from the air filter housing.

Disconnect the brown vacuum hose from the vacuum diaphragm.

Pry off the air filter cover clips with a screwdriver and disconnect the gray hose.

Remove the 4 air filter brackets and the top clip on the cover.

Remove air filter cover.

Remove the air filter insert.

Wipe the top and bottom of the air filter with a clean cloth.

Installation

Insert new air filter insert.

Place air filter cover on and secure with 4 clips.

Attach the air filter with the top clip.

Connect the brown vacuum hose to the vacuum diaphragm.

Connect the gray vacuum hose to the air filter cover.

Connect the crankcase breather hose to the air filter housing.

Removing the air filter housing

Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the air filter housing.

Loosen the clamp securing the hose connection to the air filter cover.
