Front closing beam — removal and installation

The front end beam is bolted on and, in case of damage during an accident or repair, can be easily removed.

Removing

1. Remove the bottom guard (protection) engine compartment.

2. Remove the front bumper.



3. Unscrew the combination hexagon bolts on the right and left (1). Then fold forward the radiator with the bonnet lock support.



4. Remove end beam guard (2) with sleeves (3) from pins (4).



5. Unscrew the headlights and direction indicators on both sides of the car (arrow) and take out. Disconnect electrical plug.

6. Hook the radiator with a cable to a crane or hoist and pull the cable.



7. Remove the pins from the spacer clips (arrows) right and left and remove the spacer clips from the radiator brackets.

8. Raise the radiator a little with the crane up. Do not disconnect hoses.



9. Unscrew end beam (1) together with headlights (2).

Attention! When assembling, tighten the bolts to a torque of 8 Nm, not more.

10. Detach the wiring harness from the end beam.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly.
