Conservation
Treat the clean, washed lacquer surface with a preservative as often as possible to protect it with a pore-smoothing and water-repellent layer of wax from environmental influences.
Any fuel, oil, grease or brake fluid that has come into contact with the varnish must be removed immediately, otherwise the varnish will fade.
Preservation must be repeated as soon as the water stops repelling from the varnish and collecting into drops, but on the contrary, it forms large puddles. Regular maintenance keeps the gloss of the varnish longer.
The second option for preserving the varnish is the use of a special preservative after washing the car, which protects the varnish sufficiently well only if it is applied after each wash with a frequency of no more than 2-3 weeks between 2 washes.
Use only varnish preservative containing synthetic wax or carnauba.
After washing with detergent (shampoo) treatment with a preservative agent is especially necessary (follow the instructions for use).
Cannot be preserved in the sun.
Polishing
Polishing of the lacquer is required only when the lacquer, due to insufficient care, under the influence of road dust, industrial exhaust gases, sun and rain, has become unattractive and even after treatment with a preservative does not regain its former luster. You should refrain from strong grinding and strong chemicals, even if they give a good result after the first attempt.
After each polishing, the machine must be washed clean and dried thoroughly. In addition, observe the instructions for use of the polishing agent.
Not very large surfaces should be processed, in order to avoid premature drying of the varnish. Preservation is necessary after the application of some polishing agents. Do not polish in the sun! Matte, unvarnished parts do not polish. Aluminum body parts do not require special care.
Bituminous stain removal
Bituminous stains eat into the varnish for a short time and cannot be completely removed after that. Fresh bituminous stains are removed with gasoline and a soft cloth. In emergency cases, stains can be removed with fuel from the tank, kerosene or turpentine. Lakopreservative helps very well against bituminous stains. After using it, you can not wash the car.
Removing insect marks
Insect residues contain biomaterial that can damage the lacquer if they are not removed in a timely manner. Only water and a sponge sometimes fail to remove them. Then you have to use a weak warm soapy solution or detergent. There is also a special tool for removing traces of insects.
Removal of building and cement pollution
Splashes of any building material should be removed with a warm, neutral detergent. Do not rub hard to avoid damaging the varnish. After washing, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
