It is impossible to give a firm conclusion about the service life of tires of a particular brand, since it depends on many factors:
- pavement surfaces;
- air pressure in tires;
- driving habits;
- weather conditions.
Attention! Sporty driving, abrupt starting and heavy braking have a strong influence on tire wear.
Tread pattern
If the tread wear approaches the minimum legal depth, this means that if there is no more tread pattern left on the wear indicators applied along the entire length of the tread at a depth of 1.6 mm, then these tires must be replaced.
Attention! S M tires work effectively in viscous mud and snow with a tread depth of at least 4 mm.
Attention! Check tires for cuts and measure the depth of cuts with the tip of a screwdriver. If the cuts affect the cord, then the steel belt rusts from moisture. Depending on the circumstances, the tread lags behind the cord and the tire breaks. Therefore, in case of deep cuts in the tread, based on safety conditions, the tires should be replaced.
