2. Place the machine horizontally on stands.
3. Remove the lower engine compartment guard.
4. Place a container under the oil pan to collect the used oil.
5. Unscrew the oil filter (arrow). On a 4-cylinder engine, the oil filter is located on the cylinder block. The figure shows a 5-cylinder engine. A special tool is available for unscrewing the oil filter, such as HAZET2169. You can also flash the oil filter with a sharp screwdriver on the side. In this case, oil flows out - put a container.
Attention! Engine oil can also be pumped out with a special probe.
6. Unscrew the oil drain screw on the oil pan (arrow) and drain all the old oil. Unscrew the screw cap on the oil filler neck to allow the oil to drain quickly.
Attention! If abrasion products and metal chips are found in the engine oil in large quantities, this indicates severe wear, for example, crankshaft main bearings or connecting rods. To avoid damage to a newly overhauled engine, the oil pan and oil passages must be thoroughly cleaned.
