2. Clean the oil filter flange on the cylinder block with fuel, removing any oil filter gasket residue.
3. Lubricate the rubber sealing ring of the oil filter with a thin layer of oil.
4. Tighten the new filter only by hand. As soon as the filter gasket touches the cylinder block, turn the filter an additional 1/2 turn. Pay attention to the instructions on the oil filter.
5. Pour new oil through the oil filler neck (arrow) on the cylinder head cover. Then check the oil level with an oil level gauge.
Attention! It is highly recommended to drink 1/2 liter less oil and warm up the engine. Stop the engine and after a few minutes check the oil level with the oil level gauge. Top up if necessary. Excess oil must be sucked off, otherwise the catalyst will be damaged.
6. After the test drive, check the tightness of the oil drain plug and the oil filter, tighten carefully if necessary.
7. Switch off the engine warmed up to operating temperature and after about 2 minutes check the oil level again, if necessary, restore the normal level.
8. Install the lower engine compartment guard.
Attention! In order to be able to better observe the performance of the engine, use oil of the same type and, if possible, the same brand when changing the oil. In this case, it is advisable to fix a plate on the engine with the brand and viscosity of the oil at each oil change.
